About this texting program

Text messages in this program are sent by Bible Believers Tabernacle, Inc ("Bible Believers' Tabernacle Inc"). The program keeps our congregation and guests informed with the updates they ask for — such as service and event reminders, group and ministry updates, care follow-up, and giving receipts. You only receive texts if you opt in through one of the sign-up methods the church offers, and consent is never required to attend or take part in the church's ministries.

How people opt in on this website

On this website, consent to receive text messages from Bible Believers' Tabernacle Inc is collected on the contact form at /contact. The phone number on that form is optional. When a phone number is entered, a consent checkbox appears above the submit button, unchecked by default; clearing the phone number clears the checkbox again. Bible Believers' Tabernacle Inc records text-messaging consent only when that box is checked, and stores it with the date the form was submitted.

The checkbox reads: "I agree to receive text messages from Bible Believers' Tabernacle Inc about my question and related follow-up. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
