This Privacy Policy describes how Bible Believers Tabernacle, Inc ("Bible Believers' Tabernacle Inc", "we") handles personal information shared with our church, including through this website and our communications.

Bible Believers' Tabernacle Inc collects the information people choose to share with us. This may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, and household or family relationships; participation details such as attendance, event registrations, group involvement, and volunteer serving; giving records such as the date, amount, and fund of each gift; and information shared through forms, prayer requests, or care conversations. When a parent or guardian checks in a child, we collect the details needed to keep that child safe, such as allergies and authorized pickup contacts.

We use this information to care for and communicate with our congregation and guests; to organize services, events, groups, and volunteer teams; to process gifts and provide giving receipts and statements; to keep children and families safe; and to meet our legal and financial record-keeping obligations. Prayer requests and care information are shared only with the people responsible for that care.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our ministry, such as our church management, payment processing, and email providers, who may use it only to provide those services to us, or when the law requires it. Payment card and bank account details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by the church. Text messaging information is handled as described in the sections below and is never shared for marketing.

We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described here. Giving records are kept for as long as tax and financial record-keeping rules require. Access is limited to staff and volunteers who need it for their role, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. This website may use cookies that are needed for it to work properly.

You can ask to see, correct, update, or delete the information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, using the contact details at the end of this policy. We will honor these requests unless the law requires us to keep a record. You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any email. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this website.

Text messaging information

When you opt in to text messages from Bible Believers' Tabernacle Inc, we collect and keep your mobile phone number, your consent status (including when and how you opted in or out), and the messages exchanged with you.
